Privacy & Terms
Last updated: June 2026
Nightbloom is a private space for two people. We built it to hold what matters between you — so we treat your data with the same care.
What we store
- Your account: when you sign up, we store your email and an encrypted password through our secure authentication service so you can sign in on any device.
- Your shared space: the dates, notes, memories, lists and plans you create are kept in our secure cloud, protected by per-couple security. Only you and your linked partner can ever read or write them.
- Photos: uploaded memories are kept in a private storage area and served only through short-lived, signed links — never on a public address.
- On your device: a copy is cached locally so the app works offline; it syncs back up the moment you're connected.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data. Ever.
- We don't show you ads.
- We don't read your notes, photos, or messages.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites.
Your control
- Export: download all your data as a file anytime from Settings.
- Delete: remove your shared data, leave a couple, or delete your account entirely from Settings → Privacy & data. Deletion is permanent.
Notifications
If you turn on push notifications, we store an anonymous device subscription so your partner's actions (a new date, a love note) can nudge you. You can turn this off anytime.
Terms of use
Nightbloom is provided as-is, for personal use by couples. Be kind to each other. Don't use it for anything unlawful. We may update these terms; we'll note the date above when we do.
